Markshot
Screenshot & Markup for Mac
Select. Mark up. Copy.
Press one shortcut and your screen freezes. Drag over the part you want, draw an arrow or a box
right on top of it, and press Return — it is on your clipboard, ready to paste into a chat, an
email or a bug report. No editor window, no files to clean up afterwards.

How it works
- Press ⇧⌘2 anywhere, or click the Markshot icon in the menu bar. Prefer another key? Set any shortcut you like in Markshot Settings.
- Drag to select an area. Drag the handles to adjust it, or drag inside to move it.
- Pick a tool and draw right on the screen: pen, line, arrow, rectangle, ellipse, highlighter or text, in eight colours and three weights.
- Press Return or ⌘C to copy, ⌘S to save as PNG or JPEG, or share with AirDrop, Messages and Mail. Esc cancels.
